The International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (ICID) invites proposals from reputed Chartered Accountants Firms for empanelment as Statutory Auditor for a period of 3 years commencing from FY 2021-2022. The primary objective of the Statutory Audit is to ensure that the financial statements i.e. the Balance Sheet, Income & Expenditure Account, and Receipt & Payment Account, provides a transparent financial position. Further, Statutory Audit of the financial statements should provide reasonable assurance that the accounts have been prepared in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Indian Accounting and Assurance Standards (ICAI) as accepted in India and recognised globally.
