CBIC has issued standard operating procedure to be followed by tax authorities in the case of non filers of GST returns. This outlines the standard procedure to be followed in case a registered person has not filed GST returns within due dates.

CBIC extend due date for GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C

Central board of indirect taxes and customs has further extend the due date of filing GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C till 31.01.2020. CBIC vide order no 10/2019-central tax issued on dated 26.12.2019 has further extend due date from 31.12.2019 to 31.01.2020.
