Meghalaya Basin Management Agency requests for expression of interest from Chartered Accountants Firms for engagement as Internal Auditor for Meghalaya Livelihoods and Access to Market Project (Megha-LAMP). The internal audit should be carried out in accordance with the Indian Auditing & Assurance Standards prescribed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and will include such tests and controls, as necessary for the performance of the audit. The audit will cover all project activities and the project’s financial transactions. The responsibilities of the internal auditor include reporting on the adequacy of internal controls, the accuracy and propriety of transactions, the extent to which assets are accounted for and safeguarded, and the level of compliance with IFAD guidelines and State Government guidelines/procedures.
